Yvonne Thomas founded Precision Captioning in 1999 and along with President Michael Aubry is utilizing her 35+ years of senior management experience in the field of television post production to head up Precision Creative Services, the leader in providing specialty scripts for the entertainment industry.
Armed with a Broadcast Journalism/Sports Information degree from the University of Southern California, Yvonne had a 13-year career overseeing the operations department at the National Captioning Institute, one of the nation's largest companies that provides closed captioning and subtitling. Her experience in television and film international distribution led her to hold positions as the head of DVD subtitling operations at Technicolor and as a management consultant for the European Captioning Institute in London, England.
Precision began offering script and list services in 2008, and the continued growing demand for continuity scripts and dialogue lists gave Yvonne the opportunity to redesign her company's main business model, change the name and focus on a lucrative, new revenue stream. In 2011, Precision Creative Services (PCS) was born.
She has assembled a client list over the past 25 years that includes Lionsgate Films, 20th Century Fox, Tribune Entertainment, World of Wonder, and OWN - The Oprah Winfrey Network. Yvonne has been featured in Entertainment Power Players business directory and was profiled on the Emmy award winning television show Making It! spotlighting entrepreneurs. She was also a featured speaker at the 10th Annual USC Women's Conference in 2018.
